For two-stage Copeland UltraTech scroll compressors
42-101504-02 includes a power savings feature on the solenoid output; this feature introduces a 5 second delay upon call for second stage and reduces power requirements by modulating the DC output to the minimum necessary to actuate the solenoid
42-101504-04 does not include power savings, and is intended for problem installations where the compressor does not shift fully into high stage; when using this module, it is recommended that the control transformer be upgraded to accommodate an additional load of approximately 10VA
