AR-4000 Arctic Pure water filter. Chlorine Taste and Odor Reduction Activated Carbon block. 'Adsorbs' contaminants are retained on the surface of the media. Large pores within the carbon provide maximum surface area. 'Absorbs' contaminants physically migrate into the carbon media. Catalytic Action contaminants chemically react with the carbon and are reduced in concentration.. Chlorine taste and odor reduction . 1.0 micron particle reduction . Capacity @ 40,000 gals (37,854 liters) . Flow Rate @ 1.5 gpm (5.68 lpm) .

NOTE: Works with Copper or Polyethylene tubing. Powder-coated aluminum cover is durable and corrosion resistant. Built-in valve-in head allows easy cartridge changeouts on the fly no need to turn the water off to the machine. Built-in vent hole and tubing guide depressurized water to drain during changeout. 3/8" John Guest inlet/outlet ports with optional 3/8" stainless fittings provide quick and easy installation. Encapsulated cartridge reduces outside contamination. Extended length provides additional chlorine taste and odor reduction capacity.
