K-FLEX® 374 Protective Coating

K-FLEX® 374 Protective Coating is a water-based coating specially formulated for application to elastomeric insulation surfaces. Fast drying and white in color, this protective coating offers UV resistance and is ideal for indoor and outdoor applications.K-FLEX® 374 Protective Coating is available in gallon containers.

K-FLEX® 374 Protective Coating can be applied with a brush or short-nap roller, or sprayed. For best appearance, two coats are recommended. It should be stirred thoroughly and applied to a clean, dry surface which is free of dirt, oil, or other contaminants. If the surface needs cleaning, use a fast-drying non-residue cleaner such as denatured alcohol. The coating should be applied above 50°F and allowed to dry for 1 hour between coats, or the adhesion may be adversely affected.

Do not add water to the product; thinning with water will adversely affect the coating. Use fresh, clean water for clean up.

INDOOR APPLICATION
K-FLEX® 374 Protective Coating offers a tough, cleanable surface for indoor applications. The decorative coating can be tinted with common pigment pastes used for tinting latex paint. Pigments should be added at the rate of less than 4.3 oz/gal. The coating is free of any solvent odors.

OUTDOOR APPLICATIONS
K-FLEX® 374 Protective Coating offers protection from the harmful effects of UV rays when applied to insulation outdoors. It should not be confused as a waterproof mastic, and should not be used in areas where water ponding could occur.

Caution: Use with ventilation and do not take internally. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting - call physician immediately. Avoid contact with eyes.In case of eye contact, flush with large amounts of water and call physician. Close container after use.Keep out of reach of children.
