- Eligibility
This Sweepstakes is open only to legal US residents who are 18 or older as of 10/1/2021, and who are EXISTING CUSTOMERS who maintain an active account in good standing and have transacted business with Baker Distributing prior to 10/1/2021. Open to active account holders in the United States only. Accounts are active and qualified to participate at the sole discretion of Baker Distributing. Non-active account holders and the general public are ineligible to participate. Customers who open an account with Baker Distributing during the entry period are ineligible to participate. Employees of Baker Distributing, Inc., its parent company, Watsco, Inc., their subsidiaries and affiliates, or of other companies associated with the promotion of the Sweepstakes, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible.

- Entry procedures
The Sweepstakes runs from 12:00 am (ET) on October 1, 2021, to 11:59 p.m. (ET) on December 31, 2021 (the “Entry Period”). During the Entry Period, there are two ways to enter: Method 1: Each total purchase of $1,000 in Heatcraft products on one invoice will earn one entry into the final drawing. Limit 5 entries per customer. 2: No purchase necessary to enter. Odds of winning are not improved with purchase. To enter without a purchase, a customer with an active and qualified account may handprint their name, account number, address, phone number and email address on a postcard or letter and mail to: Baker Distributing, Attn: Marketing Department, 14610 Breakers Drive Jacksonville, FL 32258. All mail-in entries must be postmarked between October 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021 and received by January 3, 2022 to be included in the pool that we will draw from for prizes at the end of the Entry Period. Limit 5 entries per customer.
- Winner Selection (Effective as of 10/1/21, all locations will participate in the drawing.)
On or about January 4, 2022, all entries will be entered into a final drawing and winners will be chosen at random from the official entries. A total of 32 winners will be selected from the official entries. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The potential winners will be notified within 10 days of the drawing by phone call and/or email.
- Approximate prize values
The grand prizes will be a 20qt Patriot Cooler (approximate prize value of $205.95), Coleman RoadTrip 225 Grill (approximate prize value of $315.95), or a SEVYLOR 2-person Kayak (approximate prize value of $259.99). Grand prize varies by location. Grand prize value may differ from maximum value. Any prize details not specified above will be determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. Prizes are not transferable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the prize is not available for any reason as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. The winner is responsible for any federal, state or other taxes and any and all other costs and expenses not listed above.
- Additional requirements of winners
Except where prohibited, a potential winner may be required to complete and return a Declaration and Release and/or tax form W-9, if applicable, within ten (10) days of being notified. If a potential winner declines to accept the prize, has violated any of these Official Rules, or fails to sign and return the required documents within the required time frame, then an alternate entrant will be selected in his/her place in a random drawing of remaining entries.
- Additional Terms and Conditions
By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the determinations of Sponsor, which shall be final. Unless prohibited by law, entrants agree to allow use of their name, voice, city/state of residence, photograph, and/or likeness for advertising and/or trade and/or any other purpose in any media or format now or hereafter known without further compensation, permission or notification.
The Sweepstakes is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law. In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Sweepstakes is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, or other technical problem, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Sweepstakes to address the impairment and then resume the Sweepstakes in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) award the prize at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Sponsor reserves the right to modify or cancel this promotion at any time and, in the event of cancellation, substitute another in its place.
By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its parent and related companies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, illegible, inaccurate or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney’s fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
- Winners disclosure
To obtain the name of the winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Baker Distributing, Attn: Marketing Department, 14610 Breakers Drive Jacksonville, FL 32258. Requests must be received within four (4) weeks of the conclusion of the Entry Period.
