The P165BN ScaleGard replacement cartridge is for the SGP165BN-T water filtration system from 3M Cuno. This replacement cartridge is specially designed to reduce hard scale as well as chlorine taste and odor.
The cartridge is a Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) type that minimizes the possibility of leakage and contamination during cartridge change-outs with a simple 1/4 turn.
The flow rate for this replacement cartridge is up to 1 gallon per minute (3.8 liters per minute) for a total of 719 gallons (2,722 liters) at 9.0 gpg (grains per gallon) hardness.
